PART - PUBLICATION POLICY AND ETHICS

Common Publication Policy and Ethics for Books with No Royalty and No Distribution

This policy outlines the guidelines and ethical standards for the publication of books where no royalties are paid to authors and no distribution of the books is planned. The purpose of this policy is to ensure transparency, respect for authors’ contributions, and adherence to high ethical standards throughout the publication process.

Publication Policy

1. Purpose and Scope:
   • The primary purpose of this publication is for internal use, archival, or restricted access as defined by the specific project’s objectives. These books are not intended for public distribution, sale, or commercial use.
   • This policy applies to all authors, contributors, and parties involved in the creation and publication of these books.
2. Authorship and Contribution Acknowledgment:
   • All authors and contributors will be fully credited for their work. Authorship will be determined based on significant intellectual contribution to the content.
   • In cases of multiple contributors, order of authorship will be determined based on agreed upon contributions and discussions with the editorial team.
3. Copyright and Licensing:
   • Authors retain full copyright of their work. The publication will be licensed under terms that restrict distribution and commercial use but authors, students, academicians can recommend any books in their institutes, college, university for academic purpose where book (if available or request for printing) will be sent with proper invoice & cost.
   • Any use of the content outside of the intended scope must be approved in writing by the author.
4. Access and Usage:
   • Access to the published books is strictly limited to the intended audience as defined in the project scope.
   • Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or sharing of the books in any format is prohibited.
5. Editorial and Peer Review Process:
   • The content will undergo a rigorous editorial review to ensure quality and adherence to academic standards. A peer review process will be implemented where applicable to enhance content credibility.
   • Authors will receive constructive feedback during the review process and are encouraged to make revisions as necessary to improve the quality of their work.
6. Confidentiality and Internal Use:
   • All materials related to the publication will be treated as confidential. Access will be restricted to authorized individuals involved in the publication process.
   • The content is intended for internal or restricted use, and measures will be in place to protect it from unauthorized access.
7. No Royalty Payment:
   • Authors will not receive royalty payments for their contributions. As no distribution policy, so no royalty paid on any kind of book such as Text Books, Edited Books, Thesis based books , Proceedings, Souvenir, reference books & so on. 
   • In case, if any author willing for royalty, so author has to take efforts to recommend book in any library, college etc & minimum 500 books must be sold in 01 year. So in this case, will give 8% royalty after deducting all expenditures.
8. Mandatory- One time Payment taken from authors to Publish Book

• To prepare , format, proofreading, printing, cover page design etc may operational expenditures incur during book publication process. So author has to pay a specified fee (it depends on number of copies requires, books no. of pages, quality of paper, difficult formatting & many more). Because no distribution policy is there, so one time payment is compulsory, author has to pay. After payment, our team design cover page & send to author to finalize. Thereafter will issue ISBN & DOI for each book. Then will upload cover page with author details on website, so that author can use for his/her academic purpose. In the meantime, book formatting & publication process will undergo.
• Normally, a complete publication takes minimum 15 -20 days or more totally depend on nature of book & work associated in a particular work. 
• Once book draft is ready, will send to author, to check & verify. If any modifications needed, our team will do until finalization by author.
• Author will get 8-10 complimentary copies along with author certificate. If required additional copies, buyer has to pay for per book additionally. 
• Sometimes, few of the books required bu students, libraries, professors etc. So they can order, if book available with us will courier cost to cost. No profit added.
• Incase happened, we issue ISBN & cover page. Might due to some circumstances, book not published, so automatically book will not be considered as published. And in this case, sometimes, our team forget to delete cover page from website, so it also doesn’t mean that book published. Because for publication, will always send final draft of book 2-3 times in authors email & also send complimentary copies.

9. Post-Publication Amendments:
   • Authors may request corrections or amendments post-publication. Such requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis to ensure the integrity and accuracy of the published work.
10.  Amazon & Other Online Platforms Visibility :

• Sometimes, author request to display book on Amazon for selling purpose. For fulfilling this condition, we display book on Amazon with 1-2 inventory just for the sake of verification of author, book & ISBN. Otherwise, we do not sell book through Amazon as well.

11. E- Book/E-Publication of Book

• This is a world of Digital/Online publication. Most of the times authors request to publish book both with E-ISBN & P-ISBN. So that book can be uploaded online (Open access- Complete book or in the form of chapters separately), so that all academics/ professional fraternity can take advantage of their book.
• In the same way authors, will not get any royalty either book is available online.

Ethical Standards

1. Transparency and Honesty:
   • All communications with authors will be transparent, detailing the no-royalty and no-distribution nature of the publication from the outset.
2. Respect for Intellectual Property:
   • The publication respects authors’ intellectual property rights. Authors will be allowed to use their content in future projects or publications that may involve distribution, with appropriate credit given to the initial publication.
   • All third-party content used within the publication will be properly licensed or credited, ensuring compliance with copyright laws.
3. Inclusivity and Fairness:
   • The publication process will be inclusive and fair, providing equal opportunity to all authors regardless of their background.
   • Decisions regarding content, authorship, and acknowledgments will be made without bias and based on the quality and relevance of the contributions.
4. Plagiarism and Originality:
   • All submitted content must be original and free from plagiarism. The publication will utilize plagiarism detection tools to verify the authenticity of the work.
   • Authors are responsible for ensuring that their submissions are original and that any use of external sources is appropriately cited.
5. Confidentiality:
   • The confidentiality of the authors’ submissions and the content under review will be maintained throughout the publication process.
   • Peer reviewers and editors are obligated to keep the details of the submissions confidential and not to disclose or use any information obtained during the review process for personal advantage.
6. Ethical Handling of Data:
   • Authors must ensure that all data presented in their work is ethically obtained and accurately reported.
   • Any study involving human or animal subjects must have received appropriate ethical approvals, and such approvals should be stated in the publication.
7. Conflict of Interest:
   • Authors, editors, and reviewers must disclose any potential conflicts of interest that could influence the publication process.
   • Any conflicts will be managed to ensure the integrity and impartiality of the publication.
8. No Commercial Use:
   • The content will not be used for commercial purposes. Any deviation from this policy requires prior written consent from the author and publisher, outlining specific terms for commercial use.
