This introductory textbook on Sustainable Development Goals (SDG): A Family and Community Science Perspective for undergraduate students of Family and Community Sciences (previously, Home Science). The textbook provides a comprehensive overview of all the sustainable development goals (SDG) as well as their relevance for interdisciplinary fields within Family and Community Sciences. Each chapter responds to one specialization and gives an in-depth understanding of various SDGs and interconnections within them. Importantly, each chapter indicates what changes students can incorporate in their lifestyle on a daily basis to support and enhance the achievement of the SDGs in the local context. I am sure this foundational understanding of SDGs will go a long way in promoting their achievement by young people in their distinct communities and work contexts in future. Enthusiastic young teachers and heads of the department have contributed their expertise as authors of the chapters.
