This book contains the ayurvedic remedies of some selected traditional medicinal plants for curing some of the common ailments. We selected thirty important medicinal plants and the two most commonly used formulation. Each plant was briefly explained including their botanical name, common name, plant family, plant part used for preparing ayurvedic medication, major actively isolated chemical constituents, medicinal uses, ayurvedic fomulation, their dosage and finally the reported in vivo and in vitro activities. Each and everything in this book was illustrated with the help of visual diagrams and pictures as well so that a layman can understand that what should this book say?. Every individual can use the mentioned formulation but not in the severe condition due to slow mode of action. The rural women can also generate income by planting various medicinal plants by making high value edited product from the raw material of these medicinal plants. This book contains some surprising aspects of some plants. This book is also useful for undergraduates, post graduates and research scholars due to the mentioned material in this book. People should be aware about these medicinal plants and use these kind of ayurvedic formulation instead of allopathic medicine due to their bad effects on our body. There are some formulations mentioned in this book. This book is helpful for the ayurvedic and pharmacognosy students as well.
