Prof. (Dr.) Sanjay Kumar

Prof. (Dr.) Sanjay Kumar is a renowned academician and scientist. Currently, he is the Principal of Glocal College of Paramedical Science and Research Centre as well as the Director of IQAC at Glocal University, Saharanpur. After completing his Masters from Ch. Charan Singh University, Meerut, he gained his Ph.D. in Molecular Medicine from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. He carried out his postdoctoral research at Salk Institute for Biological Studies, La Jolla, USA and Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. He has worked in a number of capacities, including Head of the Department of Paramedical Science, Senior Research Officer and Head of the Central Research Station at Subharti Medical College, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut. In addition, he also worked as NAAC Coordinator, Research Coordinator at Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut. He also contributed as Secretary, 'University Research Advisory Board' and 'University Research Committee' of Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut. He has been awarded numerous awards, including 'Prof. N. J. Chinoy Award for the Best Poster', 'Prof. A. R. Rao Memorial Best Poster Award', Endocrine Trainee Day Travel Award and Early Career Research Award by SERB, Govt. of India and Direct Senior Research Fellowship from CSIR, India. He has published numerous research articles in peer reviewed journals. He has also organized several seminars and workshops. He is a member of several Professional Societies and Editorial Board. His research focuses on understanding the molecular mechanisms utilized by nuclear receptors/ transcription factors and co-regulators in the epigenetic regulation of signaling and transcription involved in cancer and metabolism /Transcriptional Cross-Talk.
