The mystery of man's journey towards salvation has been dealt by T. S. Eliot in his works. Eliot's imagery is religious from beginning to the end but he never sacrificed his art which has been perfected by it. In The Family Reunion Eliot's imagery shows his incessant effort to merge his personality in the absolute truth and it develops spontaneously. Eliot's vision is communicated through a fine weave of imagery and so it has been studied in this work by dividing them into various idea- based categories. We find aesthetic and spiritual experience in his imagery. The readers are bound to love his imagery for its suggestiveness and richness. Through his imagery he gives his mystic vision and an immortal direction to mankind. It is hoped that a detailed analysis of imagery in this work will not only be of great use to scholars

Dr. Rani Tiwari is an Associate Professor in the Department of English, S.S.V. College, Hapur affiliated to C.C.S. University, Meerut (U.P.). She got her educational degrees from Kurukshetra University, Gorakhpur University and Rani Durgavati University Jabalpur. She has teaching experience of 18 years in higher education.
