Nationalisation of banks, Creation of Priority Sector Lending Banks (PSLBs), Regional Rural Banks (RRBs), National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD), Self-Help Groups Bank Linkage Programme (SHGs-BLP) and Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY) are the historical milestones of financial inclusion initiatives in India.
