Development is a desirable goal for every individual, region or nation. The development of the society and economy is observed with the development of civilization. Every region faces development. However, the rate of growth may differ in different regions. It is a challenging task for policy makers of the country, to formulate policies to accelerate the rate of growth of the economy. They have to put emphasis on distributional aspect along with the generational aspect. The fruit of development must be distributed in judicious manner among the various classes and regions of the nation. Despite the best efforts, some inequalities come to the front as some regions develop faster than the others.
The regional differentials are the main problem with a country. If this problem goes unchecked, it has serious repercussions on the society. The economic development with social face has gained momentum after it was observed that only economic development does not only lead to economic welfare.
