The scheme of the book starts from the research paper of one of the excellent professors in India PROFESSOR (DR.) GHAYUR ALAM along with DR. MOHAMMAD AHMAD, This Paper seeks to explain the concepts of ‘constitutional governance’ vis-à-vis ‘protection of minorities.’ Their Paper proceeds in three parts. Part I deals with the meaning of governance in the light of the decisions of the Supreme Court of India. Part II seeks to identify the provisions of the Constitution of the India dealing with the protection of the interests of the minorities in the light of the decisions of the Supreme Court of India. Part III is the conclusion.
After the above mentioned paper there is a paper on one of the most controversial topics of all times i.e. circumcision by SAKSHAM AGARWAL and SHREET RAJ JAISWAL. Then there is paper by ADITI NIDHI and DINESH KUMAR SINGH, which vividly describes machinery set up by forefathers for minorities. To strengthen their contentions they have also mentioned CAD (Constitutional Assembly Debates) and also opinions of apex court of our country through various judgments. Then there is paper submitted by one AKANSHA, in her paper she pens down various provisions throughout the constitution which acts for minorities, some of the famous judgments of Supreme Court in favour of minorities and also report of Minority Affairs. After this there is combined paper from AKSHAT SRIVASTAVA and SHREYA SINGH, they beautifully start their paper from one of the famous philosophies, ‘philosophy of Sarva Dharma SamaBhava’ They have written about the communal violence and its various incidents in the recent past which broke communal harmony in India.
