Thermodynamic and thermoelastic properties of solids under high pressures and high temperatures can be understood by investigation an adequate from of EOS [1-3]. An EOS can be used to determine the bulk modulus B and its variation with pressure and temperature [4-8]. These equations can in principle be derived from the knowledge of interatomic potentials for solids. Phenomenological forms of EOS can also be derived by considering some particular relationship for the pressure dependence and the temperature dependence of bulk modulus. A number of phenomenological equations have been reported in the literature [2, 6-10]. An isothermal EOS yields the relationship between pressure and volume at a constant temperature. The isothermal bulk modulus (B) can be determined from an isothermal equation of state representing the relationship between pressure and volume at fixed temperature.
